The short version
Due doesn't have a server, an account system, or an analytics provider. The bills you add their names, amounts, due dates, and payment status, are stored only in your device's local storage. Nobody but you, on your device, has access to that information. That's the whole policy; everything below just explains it in more detail.
What Due stores, and where
When you add a bill, Due saves it using Apple's on-device data storage (SwiftData), on your phone. This data is never transmitted to us, to a server, or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. Due has no way to retrieve it, because Due never had a copy in the first place.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. Due does not use a push notification service, which means no bill data is ever sent off your phone to trigger a reminder.
Exporting your data
Due lets you export your bills to a file for backup purposes. That file is created and stored using the standard iOS share sheet, entirely under your control. Due does not upload it anywhere, and has no visibility into where you choose to save or send it.
In-app tips
Due offers optional, one-time tips to support development. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Due does not receive or store your payment information. Apple handles the transaction, and any billing details are covered by Apple's own privacy policy, not this one.
Children's privacy
Due does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because Due does not collect information from anyone at all, data stays on-device regardless of who's using it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example, if a future version of Due adds an optional feature that involves a network connection, this page will be updated, and the "last updated" date above will reflect it.
